Ongoing care

How we prescribe

01 /

Visits are the treatment, not a toll

Monthly visits while starting or adjusting medication; quarterly once you are stable.

02 /

Safeguards at every visit

One physician, one pharmacy of record, and a prescription-monitoring check at every controlled-substance visit.

03 /

Non-stimulant options, taken seriously

Stimulants are one option among several. Non-stimulant medication and non-medication approaches get equal weight in your plan.

ADHD medication by telehealth

Our stimulant prescribing policy

When ADHD medication is appropriate, including stimulants, it can be prescribed by telehealth under current DEA telemedicine rules, which the DEA has extended through December 31, 2026. If those rules change, we’ll tell you what it means for your care.

  • Diagnosis first. A full sixty-minute evaluation with validated rating scales before any prescription.
  • Controlled-substance agreement. Signed before a stimulant is started.
  • Prescription-monitoring check through your state’s PDMP at every controlled-substance visit.
  • One prescriber, one pharmacy of record.
  • Regular follow-up: monthly while starting or adjusting, quarterly once you’re stable.
  • No guarantee of a stimulant. Non-stimulant and non-medication options get equal weight.
