Menopause care that takes you seriously.

Menopause and perimenopause care by telehealth, including hormone therapy evaluation, for women in Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, Indiana, and Ohio.

Hot flashes, poor sleep, mood changes, brain fog, and changes in your body are real, common, and treatable. We take the time to understand your symptoms and your health history, then walk through every option, hormonal and non-hormonal.

Who it’s for

Women in perimenopause or menopause with symptoms that affect sleep, work, mood, or quality of life, including women who were told they “just have to live with it.”

Treatment options

Options include FDA-approved estrogen and progesterone therapy in different forms, vaginal estrogen for genitourinary symptoms, and non-hormonal medications. The right choice depends on your age, time since menopause, and personal and family history, including breast cancer, blood clots, stroke, and heart disease.

Labs and screening

Menopause is usually diagnosed from symptoms and history, not a single hormone level. Your physician may check labs such as thyroid function, lipids, and a metabolic panel, and make sure screening such as mammograms is up to date.

Follow-up

A check-in a few weeks after starting, then at least yearly, with adjustments as your symptoms and needs change.

Javid’s Primary Care membership is $99, so you can pay for it with pre-tax money. Prescriptions and lab work ordered for your care are generally HSA- and FSA-eligible too.

Eligibility depends on your plan and how each service is used, so confirm with your HSA administrator or tax adviser. The Longevity & Wellness and Psychiatric Care memberships may not count as direct primary care under IRS rules.

Adults 18 and older who are physically located in Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, Indiana, and Ohio at the time of each visit.

Is hormone therapy safe?

For many healthy women under 60 or within 10 years of menopause, the benefits of hormone therapy for symptoms outweigh the risks. It isn’t right for everyone, and your physician will review your personal risks with you.
