Pay with pre-tax dollars

Use your HSA. You should.

Starting in 2026, federal law lets you pay a direct primary care membership with HSA funds, for memberships up to $150 a month. Javid’s Primary Care membership is $99, so you can pay for it with pre-tax money. Prescriptions and lab work ordered for your care are generally HSA- and FSA-eligible too.

Eligibility depends on your plan and how each service is used, so confirm with your HSA administrator or tax adviser. The Longevity & Wellness and Psychiatric Care memberships may not count as direct primary care under IRS rules.

Our name

جاوید

Javid · eternal, everlasting

Persian · /jɑːˈviːd/ · jah-VEED

Before it was the name of a practice, it was a name I was given.

My middle name is Javed. In Persian it’s written Javid, جاوید, meaning forever, everlasting. It names the things that endure, and for centuries Persian poets have used it for whatever deserves to outlive us: wisdom, love, a good name. It’s a name that evokes lasting vitality and enduring care.

Hospital medicine taught me what that word asks of a doctor. I’ve cared for people on the day their health finally gave out: the heart attack building for a decade, the diabetes no one had time to catch. Very little of it was sudden, and much of it was preventable.

So I gave the practice my middle name, because it describes the kind of health worth building: health that doesn’t run down, doesn’t need rescuing, and holds up year after year. Unhurried primary care, real attention to metabolic, hormonal, and mental health, and a physician who knows you well enough to see the fifteen-year problem in year one.
