Longevity & Wellness · Weight

Medical weight loss, built on evidence.

GLP-1 evaluation and physician-supervised weight management by telehealth, including semaglutide and tirzepatide, for adults in Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, Indiana, and Ohio.

Weight is a medical issue, not a willpower test. We look at what’s driving it, check the labs that matter, and discuss every option, from nutrition, sleep, and activity to GLP-1 medications such as semaglutide and tirzepatide.

Who it’s for

Adults who want medical help with weight, especially with conditions such as prediabetes, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, sleep apnea, or fatty liver. GLP-1 medications have specific eligibility criteria and aren’t right for everyone, including people with certain thyroid cancer histories or pancreatitis, and people who are pregnant.

Medication options

FDA-approved medications are our default, including semaglutide (Wegovy) and tirzepatide (Zepbound). Patient-specific compounded preparations may be considered only when medically justified and legally permitted. The FDA has raised concerns about unapproved GLP-1 products, and we’ll talk through what that means for you.

Labs we usually check

Your physician chooses labs for your history. A typical starting panel includes a metabolic panel, HbA1c, lipids, and thyroid function, repeated to track progress.

How follow-up works

Monthly check-ins while starting or adjusting a medication, with dose changes based on how you respond and how you feel, then less often once you’re stable.
